I have a 75 yam 2 stroke outboard (2001 year)and I would like to find the solution to the following problem.I have electric start and upon cranking the motor have spark for only 2 secs even though I could crank continuously. If I stop cranking and start cranking again, I get another 2 secs of spark. It took me a while to find out why my motor was hard to start when it was cold, but I now know that I have spark for only 2 secs and have learned to work around this situation, but I'd like to be able to fix it. When the motor starts, in warm weather conditions it works perfectly.I disconneted the wires from the controls and put the screw driver across the starter unit and the problem remains. In cold weather (January) the motor will start but will take about 3 to 5 minutes before all 3 cylinders kick in, then it works perfectly.<br /> What can be my problem?
