The engine is a 1975 Mercury 1150 (115 hp) in line 6 2-stroke. I have appearantly caused a very bad thing, the engine was running a little rough this year. Cleaned the carbs and changed the plugs figured i would check and change the cap and rotor. As I'm sure most of you are aware that thing is built on there, well it's not on mine anymore. Any help on finding a replacement and how to replace it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance for any and all replies.

Is that the cap or rotor you are missing, WDavis? It helps to be specific.

you will need the roter shaft. Also you have to pull the trigger to install. Mercury may still stock the part you need.

That is if you are talking about the roter? That has been broken.

Yes, I apologize I am speaking of the rotor, the cap although dirty is salvagable.
