it all started with a boat mechanic checking my engine out since i had just bought the boat a couple of weeks ago. it died on me a few times when i would put it in gear and as it engaged it would die. i threw the throttle to it and it finally took off and made it back to shore. so he checks it out and says the rectifier is bad along with number two coil, the stator coils are leaking but he says its ok. replaced both coil and rectifier made no difference. i replaced power pack today and that didnt help either. i removed the flywheel to discover he installed it wrong so i replaced it and picked up fire on #3 but #2 still has no fire. hope i havent bored you with my story but i dont know what to try next without buying a stator and wishing. any help would be appreiciated. thanks , justin
