I have recently acquired a '74 Sportcraft with a 75hp Chrysler Outboard. It has been sitting in a garage for about 15 years and was winterized professionally before it was put away. I am pretty new to boating and I would like to do all of the maintenance myself.
i am hoping someone can suggest some steps I should follow before I try to restart the motor. After talking with some mechanics, I know that I need to at least replace the impeller as well as gaskets across the fuel system. IS there a specific gasket kit I should be looking for? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
