74' Evinrude Stalls after Starting

I had this boat for 10 years with no problems. This year I had trouble starting the engine so I took it to be repaired. They replaced the power pack and all the coils and it starts fine now. The new problem is that once it starts it stalls even on fast idol/warm up. I had it checked again and I had them replace the fuel pump and still didn't solve the problem. I also cleaned the tank/filter and put new hoses on it. They did a compression check and ran it in a barrel and it ran fine for them for 15 minutes at low idle. The problem is intermittent sometimes. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?

You have already identified that it may be fuel related. Not knowing what your set up is for tanks, lines, etc. fittings to tank. It sounds like it is getting starved for gas. The condition of the plugs when it stalls and whether it may rev up a little as it gets starved would be clues to look further for an air leak in the fuel system.

I don't know if air is the problem but I can try some more things since you brought it up. I have a three lines for seperate tanks, maybe I'll bypass the splitter connection with a line directly from the tank. I did bypass this in-line filter that i had and it did'nt make a difference but I'll bypass the splitter and go directly from the tank. I'll let you know the results. Thanks
