Solved one problem (bad fuel line) and now onto another! The ramp that I use is kind of shallow and I've already ruined one prop. To prevent this from happening again, I've been launching and starting the motor in a tilted position. Only problem is that when I get out deep enough and untilt the motor, it stalls out and is hard to restart. I'm assuming that the untilting is causing the engine to flood and am wondering if there is a way to prevent the stall from happening. BTW, Boat has manual tilt.

Are you saying you're starting the motor dry???

No. The motor is a long shft model. When tilted the prop is just below the surface and the inlet port is completely below the waterline. I'm definitely pumping water.
