Is there any high speed mixture adjustment hidden behind a plug or somewhere on the 1972, 6hp, Johnsons ?

There is a fixed brass non adjustable high speed jet located in the bottom center portion of the float chamber.

dang, no adjustment hidden there somewhere.

i guess that fixed jet has some trash in it since i can't get rpm.

Use a thin piece of single strand steel wire to clean it out.

UPDATE:

Removed, Cleaned, Kitted the Carburetor and runs like a champ.

Did run across a NEW scenario tho......
Running in my test barrel the motor breathes its own exhaust and won't run right. RPM won't get above about 50% in the barrel with the Cowling on.
Take the cowling off, or take the motor to the lake and it runs 100%.
I've tested motors in this barrel for a long time and never ran into this before.
Maybe I always left the cowling off, or never attempted more that 50% throttle. Had me stumped though until the guys in this forum got me straight.
