I have a 72 125 that I am trying to bring back to life after a LONG hibernation in a garage. I appears to have been prepared properly, fogged etc and turns over fine. The prop turns when the engine is cranked - this is normal I think as the hydro-electric won't shift into nuetral till the engine is running. The electrics on the engine are a bit messy and I could use some advice on them - see pictures below. (a wiring diagram would be great if anyone has a scan they could email me)

Overall shot of the conection bar area, something appears to be missing as there are two loose plugs:

http://www2.freepichosting.com/Images/421581526/9.jpg

and a taped bundle of these wires:

http://www2.freepichosting.com/Images/421581526/5.jpg

Plug 1:

http://www2.freepichosting.com/Images/421581526/2.jpg

Plug 2:

http://www2.freepichosting.com/Images/421581526/1.jpg

This grey wire is connected to a loose wire at the control. It is taped to a ground wire. I think it may have been connected to a tacho. Am I right, if not what does the grey wire connect to?

http://www2.freepichosting.com/Images/421581526/6.jpg

I will order a manual - I have one for the 73 115hp that I own - thought it would be the same - oops!

Thanks, this really is a great forum.
