72 Johnson 100hp No spark

I have a 72 Johnson 100hp with No spark. It lost spark and I had to replace a broken wire. It ran all last year no problem at all. Took it out for the year and I have NO spark again, I checked the wire I replace it seems fine. Could someone give me a starting point. It seems like a very simple engine to work on,

Mav, this is really the same issue that you have in your other post about lack of spark/control box cutout switch. You might be better off to just follow the suggestions in one or the other.
