I can be running along 3/4 speed and is if I hit something,and it just keeps on going get home and the shear pin is bent.put a new one in go out in deep water and will do agin.Is there somthing in the lower unit jumping out and back in.
Your clutch dog could be worn causes a thunk<br />like you hit something.Could bend pin though I never noticed that effect.<br /> It is normal for dogs to wear.You can minimize by slowing motor as slow as possible and shifting<br />surely and crisply not violently.
