My 1971 merc 80HP won't start. It worked good few days ago. Now when I try to start it won't turn over. I checked the plugs,loose wires, tried ether, wd40. It will puff some smoke and sounds like it wants to start. Sounds like its getting no fuel to sounding like its flooded. Its getting fuel because I see it dripping from the carb. It is on a mercontrol and I am using the cold start. Its the strangest thing. I've checked the plug on the side as well. Seems like it is something right infront of me and I'm missing it. Anyone have any ideas?
