"71 6hp johnson dies when warm

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone could help me troubleshoot my 1971 6 hp Johnson outboard. It starts with one or two pulls and runs Great for a while at low speed and Full throttle, but after trolling for a while it acts like it's running out of gas or over choked. Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Water pump impeller replaced recently ?----Does spark jump a gap of 1/4" or more?----Magneto checked for cracked coils ?----Thermostat checked ?------Post the actual compression test values here.-----Gear oil checked ?-----O-rings in hose fittings checked ?----Pick-up tube INSIDE the fuel tank checked ?-----Does motor keep running if you operate the manual fuel pump ?

when it begins to fade give it a quick choke to see if its leaning out.
it might be gagging on exh fumes, run without the hood to see if it runs better.

could be just bad capacitors acting up under heat load ... has suggested check for loss of sparks.

have you redone all electricals recently or still running on old stuff
