I have traced the problem to the stator. I have would like to replace the 9amp stator with a 16amp. Is this possible? If so what do I do with the extra wire? 1989 70hp, 9amp #398-8778-a10; 16 amp #398-9710-a15. I have replaced the switch box with a known good and still zero spark. Thanks in advance.--BJ
