Ahoy, Tom.

Performance and fuel consumption will depend on the boat and the pilot.

Impossible to predict or even estimate with out a lot more info.

Let us know. :)

This is a "Rule of Thumb" and works pretty good at fuel burn. At "WOT" (wide open throttle) fuel burn is 1 gallon of fuel per every ten horsepower per hour.

Yamaha should be able to help you out with this at 800-962-7926, or P.O. Box 6555 Cypress, CA 90630.

Or you could use the performance reports for the newer 70 hp given at their web site. I can't imagine them being too much different.

Good luck.

Captain Tom,

I am in agreement with JB. There are just too many varibales. A boat such as your can vary in weight by a great deal, depending on style, maker, etc.

The wide open throttle fuel useage description is probably accurate.
