70 hp rude not winterized

I have a 94 70hp 3 cyl rude that was borrowed by brother after it was winterized and has sat all winter in heated garage in this condition, i ran fresh gas and added seafoam to tank, it idles rough and stalls when put in gear, will bog on hole shot,, what should i do. ..other than break brothers fingers

by the way i don't know who to tell but the first post i did with this title came out with the boatladys name and message and my subject and my name might have been a fluke but thought someone should know about it...

Sound like the carb's are gummed up. Get a manual and make your brother clean them

will running the seafoam cure this or should i tear down the carbs and rebuild....i'm leave tommorow for 2 weeks at the lake....

didn't want to spend first day on lake rebiulding the carbs but i guess i'll have to bite the bullet,,,,,next year i think i'll winterize my brother, i'd make him help me but he's in georgia and i'm in upsate NY, ill get him back somehow.....
