Bought with a 70 hp johnson serial no J0021049 model no 65373R what year is it?

Hey lovell....that model number turns up as a 1973 Rude 65hp.

Thanks for the help, but the engine cover says it is a 70 hp johnson. The cover fit the rest of the unit.

The 70 came out in 1974 and the motors look identical to the 65. Are the 3 coils a green color?

65373 = Evinrude 1973 65HP 2 Cyl Cover was changed for whatever reason.

This outboard is three cylinders, the coils are light green. the numbers on the disc on cylinder head is same as mounting numbers. Man at hontoon marina also said the covers will swap with 70hp coversso I have a evinrude 65 HP good deal anyway. Thank all of you for your effort.
