I had a 1991 70 H.P Nissan motor for the past three years. Runs great, absolutely no issues, until today. Went fishing and motor started up great as usual. Anchored up for a few hours, then went to move and motor cranked and cranked but no start. Got in with my kicker motor and check when i got home if there was a spark at all. No spark what so ever on either sprk plug. Tested with a good tester where I should have seen the spark, but there was nothing. Where should I start on this one????
I wanted to remove the flywheel but no dice. The nut won't budge and the wheel keeps turning when I try to remove the nut. Could my problem be the stator?
EDIT: I checked things out and bypassed my kill switch and I got her started. Turns out that all I have to do is change the kill switch & I'm good to go! Thanks anyways guys.
