I have a 1982 Evinrude 70hp. Just got done over hauling the engine replacing almost all the gaskets and stuff. Motor idles and runs great now. Just when going in gear it wants to stall out unless you throw the throttle to it. Had some people to tell me to get some SeaFoam to mix it in my gas to clean all the carbon and junk in my engine where it has sit for a while. Do you all recommend this? Also do I need to add just alil fuel to mix this stuff or mix it in with my regular tank of 12gal of gas/oil and run it. Seen where they will smoke alot of white smoke after using seafoam do I need to let the engine idle til the smoke leaves or just take the boat on to the lake and run the crap outta it

No problem using seafoam. If you have a full tank of gas, 12 gals, dump in at least 1/2 can if not the whole can. 1 can treats 8 - 25gals. I use it all the time in all kinds of motors. It may smoke a "little" more until you run the tank down and fill it with fresh gas. Run your boat as normal. But, if you just did an overhaul I doubt that will solve your issue.
