7.5 seaking float spring ??

I was wondering if anyone had a diagram or could tell me how the little coil spring attaches back onto the float. Took the carb apart the other day to clean it and can't remember how exactly it goes back in.

you might find a diagram at the sears website. I found it there for my 15 hp gamefisher.

It appears in the drawing with the float right side up with the tabs away from you the spring goes between the tabs with the straight end to the left and toward you.I assume the float pin is inserted through the spring.The hooked end of the spring may go into a hole in the carb body or perhaps against a boss of some kind.It may be there to dampen movement of the float.

Spike, You wouldn't happen to have that drawing you could post on the internet or a web adress to it. I can't find a drawing anywhere

I don't have a scanner.But if you go to the library you may find a service manual with a drawing.
