7.5 HP Merc - NO SPARK

Hi, a novice here, although I do understand motor operation. 1971 model has spark to top cylinder only. Worked fine last fall before storing. Now starts- runs on one cylinder. Bottom cylinder dead. The manual I have does not show much detail getting to the mag and points, or coil removal. Also looks like coils must be purchased in pairs, as they are wired together. Can anyone help, PLEASE?

Still need welp, Please. as often happens, I made an incorrect assumption. Coils are not in pairs. Checked both coils, if I did it right with continuity test, they are both good. With tester attached to leads from points, both sets are opening and closing when they are supposed to. So, why no spark on one coil. I have not tried interchanging them. Lee
