7.5 clinton won't idle

I have a MW clinton made 7.5 sea king 70's ish<br />I have it running but only when I give it high rev. It won't idle,and when in the water it dies when I put it in gear. ?? Checked the float and jet all seams free and working but it only runs if I adjust jet to the point of gas leaking out when it is running.?! err Must be easy fix but can't figure out right adjustments.<br /> Appreciate any help.
