7.4 mag mpi backfires on take off

Well need some help just paid $600 for new fuel pump an cooler still back fires on takeoff but starts right up revs up in neutral but in gear pops hesitates then take off .Also when trying to load on trailer it dies every time I have put new plugs wire rotor cap now new fuel pump an cooler.

What year is the engine? Is the engine serial number handy?

Also you'll want to check fuel pressure during the event.
What is the top RPM you are achieving at full throttle with the stern drive trimmed up a little?

When was the last time plug, wires, cap and rotor were serviced?
Also, hope your not power loading

Thanks everyone who tried to help but my brother a auto mechanic told me to replace fuel pressure regulator an now runs like a brand new one. Thanks
