We just acquired this boat and there is a hole in maybe the cylinder cover or something like that you can see the crank through the hole. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix it or where we can find a piece to fix it? We are located Near St. Louis, MO. If you have piece we will be willing to pay for it.

Well, I'd say ya got a bad rod, crankshaft,
reedblock,and crankcase. All bad news.
I'd look for another motor to put on the boat. The cost of repair is to high. You may find a used powerhead, but it might not be much better than the one you have. The old 125s are getting a little tired these days.
You could always tear it down to see how bad it is. Get a motor manual from Mr.Vassel here at I-Boats.com to start with. Then Keep us posted if you tackel the job.

------------------
...have fun...corm

cubic inches = power
power = speed
speed = FUN

Email me if you need to.
