69 Merc 800 thunderbolt thermostat or no?

does a 69 Merc 800 thunderbolt have a thermostat? Trying to figure out why its not peeing just replaced impeller and housing/gaskets etc. Any suggestions?

Did you check the pee hole to make sure it is not plugged, it is a pretty common problem that bugs will get into there and either plug the exit or somewhere in the tube.

I ran a wire in it and still didn't pee, I haven't tried to run it in a trash can yet, I guess it could be the muffs????

Run it in a can, mine always over heat and don't pee when on muffs

69 did not have T/stat. was your impeller missing fins?

No... They were bent pretty bad but nothing missing
