My beloved 9r-69s had a 'run-in' with a river rock while drifting downstream. The collision broke off the acorn nut cap on one motor mount & cracked one side of the clamshell housing. I had the crack welded but did not replace the motor mount @ that time. I would now like to do so & would like to know if anyone on this list has had good/bad success with any internet Johnson parts suppliers. <br /><br />Also, would like to know how to remove the lower unit to replace the upper shaft o-ring. The engine leaks gear lube through the exhaust outlet when stored laying flat on its 'back' & I suspect this is where it leaks out??. I have removed the 4 bolts, placed shift lever so I could remove the shift linkage clamping bolt between the lower unit/exhaust housing, but the lower unit appears to have something else holding it in place?<br /><br />Thanks
