What is the proper oil ratio on my 1967 3.5hp SeaKing? I've been using the mix of 8 oz. 30W motor oil to 1gal gas (as stated on a decal on the motor), but the plugs foul alot. Can I use a 2-cycle oil mix?

------------------
Find the birds & you've found the fish!

Oh, please do, Birdchaser! She'll smoke, stink and foul plugs much less. I would expect her to like a 32:1 mix using Wal-Mart Super Tech TCW3, but try it carefully and go back to the 16:1 immediately upon any sign of overheat.

Red sky at night. . . .
JB

Bird...

You can go to www.aomci.org and link to "Dan's SeaKing page". This guy knows more about SeaKings than ol' Monkey Ward himself. You can also email him at
dmagers@cybrtown.com

JB's suggestion will get you up and running again in a hurry. By any chance...is this an air cooled model??

Walt
