When I am finished running my motor I disconnect the fuel line and burn the remaining fuel in the carburator. I understand that this prevents "varnish" formation in the carburator (and clogging of various ports). Is it necessary to do this if the motor is not going to be used for 1-2-weeks? Or should I only do this when I know the motor will not be used for several months.
thanks for any input

I RECOMMEND TO DO ALWAYS YOU STOCK YOUR ENGINE FOR MORE THAN 3 OR 4 DAYS. THIS IS BECAUSE, IN 3 OR 4 DAYS, THE REMAIN GASOLINE INSIDE CARB MAY DISSAPPEAR AND THE OIL STAY MAKING THE VARNISH.
ALSO, THIS IS VERY EASY MAINTEANANCE PROCEDURE.
KEEP IN MIND.

GOOD LOOK

CARLOS
VENEZUELA
