I've got a 67 Evinrude 40 HP. My problem is that I rebuilt the carb , I can pump the bulb and it will start and run a few seconds then die, Let it set and pump the bulb again and it will do the same thing. The fuel pump is pumping good. I have taken the carb off and moved the float to different levels including the correct height(level with gasket surface. Needle and seat seem to be working fine. If anything it might be flooding. Any ideas.
