Have a 1969 650 - 65hp Thunderbolt 4 cylinder Model # 2507680. Can anyone tell me if it has points or is it pointless, have a Selco Manual but I'm still mixed up, as to if it doe's or doesn't. Was wondering if someone could tell me by the model number maybe. Thanks for any info.

Bucksaw,

The model of this engine is 650. The important information is the serial number. And it has no points in the distributor. Like just about everything in this world, it is pointless!!

Chris................

This page may be of some interest to you. I had a 67' 650 and loved that motor.

web page
