It's a 1965 40 supper seehourse big twin model numder is rkl 27a and one more thing can somebody tell me where i can get a water pump for that motor or a part number thanks
Yes it is an electric shift, but not the hydraulically assisted one.
If iBoats cannot supply the water pump parts you need then there is another marine engine parts supplier, with a forum similar to this one, who have all the parts in stock ( not allowed to name them though)
Find the control box , junction box and electrical parts first before you spend much time and money !!----Does it have the belt driven generator ?------Test the electric shift system coils too. ---Do a compression test and post your values here.-----You need all this in order to have happyness.____Your location ?
