hey guys, the other day i decided to reseal my lower unit. from what i've seen on here it would be pretty easy.It was. However, when I got to the part where I had to retighten the bolts on the bottom of the lower unit, the prop shaft seemed like it was kind of tight. When I loosened the bolts a little bit, it got easier to turn. How hard should it be to turn the propshaft with new seals. Any suggestions on what I did wrong?

Make sure the trust washers are in the right position and not turned

I had a gearcase do that once. The large circlip had a bit of a bow to it (from hard reversing?) and I had installed it opposite from how I found it. I suppose I should have replaced it but simply flipping it back to it's original position solved the problem.
