62 40 hp adjustment

Well, I finally have this motor running fairly smooth, Idle's nicely, runs good at med and WOT. The only problem is when I ease of the throttle to move slower she wants to die out momentarily. almost like its flooded, she comes to right away if I give a little gas, but its not right, Just looking for any input. Thanks

if you cleaned the carb did you remove the welch plug and clean the transition holes? might try giving the carb a very good cleaning and see if it helps.

Is the vacuum cut-out switch wired correctly, including the safety switch?
Are you sure the throttle/spark advance synchronization is set up correctly?
