Hi, I am new to forums so hope I'm posting this in right place. I have an old fiberglass boat that I'm guessing is from the late 60's or 70's, and am looking for help identifying it (hoping to find the brand). There were no marking on the boat as it has no identification plate (hence why I think its old) and had been repainted. Only thing it had was the registration numbers from previous owners but haven't been able to figure it out from that. Hoping someone will recognize the boat in the images and can help me out!
Thanks

Hard to tell and at one time there were many local boat builders.----Some are obscure and not well known.----Visit a site called ---fiberglassics-----As they have listings / pictures of many boats.----Might find it there.

After looking through for a while I still have yet to be able to identify it. So if anyone happens to recognise the style or have suggestions please let me know. Thanks!

I'm assuming by no markings you checked for a HIN stamped into the hull on the stern? (Generally starboard side under the rub rail)

A couple of things in the rigging suggest early 70s to me, but that's a guess.

Yes I even removed the rub rail and nothing underneath that. I guess if I can't identify it, I'm wondering what my next step would be to register it? Its my grandpa's old boat that got passed down to my dad years ago. Its been sitting for all my life and now I'm in the middle of fixing it up. But how can I register it without an HIN?

Well------The HIN was not put on boats in the early days.-----I would say that pictures / proof of ownership will make it simple.----Stroke of a pen !-----Not sure why the registration of a boat seems to be such a big deal.------Don't need it for an expensive camera , jewelry , stereo or painting on a wall

Your state / county licensing office is the one who can best answer the question of what to do next. In Tennessee, I would need a bill of sale and probably go through the process of registering a home built boat. Dunno' about your state.
