This motor was bought along with a 2013 Bass Buggy 18DLX. It only has about 25-30 hours on it. Today we were headed out fishing and ran aground, black mud, which caused the motor to die. When I tried to restart it, it cranked for just a few seconds and died again. Now it won't start....tries but it may only last a half second. What could I have done to it and what should I look at?

Secondly, when I got it home I hooked the hose up to flush it and I tried several more times to see if it would crank, but only fired a couple times. Now the ignition switch is stuck in the Run position and won't turn left or right? Could this cause my above issue....maybe if the switch is bad then it's causing a problem with the choke or something? Also, a gentleman showed me this valve (like a tire valve) and said that it's not shooting gas out when it is depressed and the engine is being turned over....what about that?

I guess it's a 4 stroke and that is your fuel rail or an Optimax fuel injection (if they have fuel injected 60 hp engines???). Don't know about either in answer to the Schrader valve question. However the ignition switch problem is a smoking gun and before you get excited about anything else, replace it.
