60 hp OMC "slow mode"

I know this is probably a dumb question.<br />Is there a way to reset the pak from slow mode.<br />Had an overheating problem, problem has been corrected, but the alrm continues and it wont come out of slow.<br /><br />Thank you!!

Locate the heat sensor in the head. There should be 2 wires coming out of it. A tan one and a white with black stripe one. Disconnect those wires. If it solves your problem then you need to replace the sensor.

Got it fixed thanks.<br />Heat sensor was bad. Looked in the tech manual and found the problem. I had been trying to diagnose it over the phone for a couple of sdays, you all know how that works. Finally got to look at it today, got it taken care of.<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Merc1
