I have a 04 Suntracker with an 04 60 hp Mercury 4 stroke. The motor has low hours (50 - 60) , but recently developed what I hope is a small problem. When you start the motor it will crank and run for about a minute then it shuts off and will not crank back up. If you come back later it will do the same thing. I can't carry the boat to the shop because it is at my dock 5 miles up river with no boat ramp to load it. I am hoping the problem will be something I can fix at the dock . The bulb is tight and the motor spins but won't crank. Any help would be appreciated.
