60 hp johnson flyweal

I just put all new ignition system on my 60 hp johnson and I keep breakinc the key for the flyweal. The only conclusion I can come to is that Im not tightening the flyweal enough. Does anyone know about what the tourqe specs are for this, 1985, johnson 60 hp.

You only get a few tries to get it right before the flywheel and crankshaft become junk.

Yep what he said^^^^^. Also use only a factory replacement key, a key from a hardware store is not hard enough and will shear easily.
