I'm replacing a 60 hp 2-stroke with either a new 60 hp Bigfoot or 75 hp. This is going on a 20' Sweetwater pontoon. I'm told I will only get 1-2 mph more out of the 75 plus it is 140 lbs. heavier than the 60. Not sure it's worth the extra $1000-$1200. Any pros or cons on either motor would be helpful. Thanks.

Lower unit and prop is exactly the same on both. I have a 60 on mine but wish I had bigger. Go with the 75. In fact, there is little difference in price between the 75 and the 90. If your toon is rated for it, consider the 90.

The 75 has more displacement and can therefore handle a prop with a bit more pitch.
