60 hp Bigfoot blast off problems

Hey guys I have a 2002 mercury bigfoot 2stroke that idles like a new one but will die on blast off if the choke is not pressed right before I hammer it but once I'm on plane it runs great as long as I don't drop back to an idle. This has just about drove me nuts any help would be appreciated!!!!!!

Ok thanks do you think taking them apart and soaking overnight in some carb cleaner will help or do I need a professional to look at it?
