Its been 60 degrees, two days in a row. Today it was calm and sunny. Perfect for the end of walleye fishing (3/15). River was clear of ice. Took the startcraft out from noon to dark. Great weather, plus we caught twelve walleyes from 14-19", plus one smallie. There were a dozen other boats out. Hope others were able to take advantage of some warm weather. tommarow they are predicting rain :(

Wow, you had a better day than I did. My in-laws showed up un-announced this morning, so much for fishing. Motor is out of service anyway, I just re-jetted my carbs. I got the brilliant idea to replace all the hoses from the VRO to the carbs (14 years old) while I had it apart. I've been trying to get them on order for a month (no one wanted to take the time to look up the part numbers), just got them on order yesterday, probably won't see them for another two weeks. I might drop the boat in tomorrow and just run on the trolling motor. At least I'll be out on the water.

Where in NY are you located? The temps have been nice the last couple days but the water is still hard in Sullivan county. Sounds like you had a good day.

Didn't get the boat out, but caught one small Pickerel from shore. I'll take it.

Just west of Binghamton, on the Susquehanna River. Rain held off today, so went out again. :) Mid-50's and overcast. Fishing was slower, with only four 'eyes. No complaints! Its the beginning of March. Walleye closes here on the 15th, and reopens in May.
