I am putting heads on what was originally a 5.7 GSIPEFS motor that i converted to a 6.2 using a new 6.2 gm marine long block. Had to do a valve job on heads I am bolting them back on, service manual is at farm. I only have selected manual supposedly head torque is all at 22 foot pounds then 55 degrees for short bolts 65 medium and 75 large. I just put them at 55, 65, and 75 foot pounds using original bolts that came with new long block. They looked fine and only had 5 hours no load on trailer with muffs break in hours. Should I buy new bolts and a torque angle meter and redo heads, hopefully I didn't over torque. Nothing snapped or anything. I can get fel pro bolts for $30.
