Wow ! He's lucky to have had people with him or he probably wouldn't have been able to get back on his boat

I boat the Ohio River and have had idiots cruise by too close and too fast. Granted it's a river it is plenty wide enough to keep plenty of distance for safety.

But that's a fairly large body of water. Makes you wonder what the heck they were thinking or why were they even that close to the other boat to begin with.

Maybee they could copy this and repost this in the other topics so more people can see it

people like that need to be taken off the water

I know the area and while it's not a place to swim, people need to not be blasting by close to any other boat.
The guy was swimming after his bait bucket. What a way to ruin his day, week, moth, year, etc...

Like I said it happens every where.

Two years ago I was at Patoka Lake with my wife and kids and had a jetskier blow by my boat not more than12 feet away. we were picking my twelve year old daughter up out of the water after she had fallen off the tube and she was between him and the boat.

needless to say she won't get out of the boat if there are other vessels around, and we havent been back to that lake
