Im trying to find out the year for my sea king 5 hp.model#74GG9011A OR 74GG8011A --SERIAL#62662.Also I think the gas mixture is 16/1 is that correct.Im thinking the motor might be a 1947? I would appreciate any hrlp,thanks.
I concure; it's a '47. Here is a crossreference list at Antique Outboard Wiki. The 74GG9011A is a 1947 and is based on the Gale model 2W2. I can't find any reference material on that motor, but there is a lead for you to search on.
