Hi, <br /><br />First, I searching for : plug is a external, female, rectangular and the color of wire is black, plugged in jonction Box. This plug, connect on the engine (with male plug fixed on the engine). Its for, electric choke, starter and others...<br /><br />Second : I would like to know if the regulator of voltage is integrated on the engine?<br /><br />Thank you very much and excuse my english again!<br /><br />P.S. Il sert à brancher le démarreur, le choke etc... L'autre extrêmité du fils se branche dans la boîte de jonction.<br /><br />J'aimerais aussi connaitre l'utilité exacte de chaque fils.<br /><br />Deuxièment, j'aimerais savoir si le régulateur de voltage est intégrer au moteur?<br /><br />Merci à l'avance Rolmops!<br /><br />Vincent

Hi Vincent,<br /> There is no voltage regulator, because more than likely there isn't a charging system. Your motor could have had an accessory charging kit installed, but they're not common on those motors. You'd have a belt-driven generator mounted opposite the electric starter in the front of the motor.<br /> As for the plug, hit up your local boat graveyards, as there is a good chance a complete junction box is still affixed to a transom or two. Failing that, try your local motor junkyards - it's where the motors that the dealerships don't want to deal with anymore go to be scrapped and parted out. <br /> They also turn up on eBay from time to time...<br />- Scott

IF, you have a generator on it, the regulator is in the control box with the solinoid, mounted to the inside of an extra deep cover. Looks just like the automotive units from the same time period.

Hello, <br /><br />Thus I must understand that this not some, that my super seahorse has a generator<br />integrated? <br /><br />If I have a generator, can I buy OMC voltage regulator for to charge my batery?<br /><br />Thank you!
