finally got the old dog running.but not sure about some of its operations.replaced water pump impeller.noticed water leaking from upper gearcase bolt hole.is that normal?there is a hole<br />at the bolt
Check this picture out lower unit Above the pivot screw there are two small holes one on the front and one on the back. They show in this photo. Is that where the water is coming from ? Those are exhaust holes and it is normal to se water and oil mixed coming out of these holes<br /><br />The main two things when replacing the impeller is to make sure you put the impeller pin back on the shaft and that the water tube is seated into the grommet going up to the power head.
