hi everyone! <br /><br />A friend of mine has a '55 johnson 10 hp that was given to him. I do not know the model no. but my question should be simple enough. He has been told that coils are no longer available by mechanics in his area and I say they are. If I stand corrected, I'd love to know but I think the coils are just like any 10 hp all the way to late sixties and maybe beyond. His are cracked and breaking down and I told him to just get new ones. Don't see the problem. <br /><br />Someone make me stupid please!! If needed, I will get him to give me the model no. Thanks in advance as I know he would like to get this to run on both cylinders.
