I have a 50hp Tohatsu with carbs, the oil injection has been removed, I burn premix. I am rebuilding a TLDI cylinder head for this motor, converting to carbs. Do I need to put the two check valves on this block, with the 2 oil lines that go from the block to the intake side of the crankcase housing? The TLDI cylinder head doesn't have these fittings. Everything else matches (ports, measurements, etc.)

Yes you will need the oil lines and you will of course need the whole carbed engine`s ignition system. By cylinder head it sounds like you mean the block itself, and you will need the actuall head off the carbed motor to get rid of the air injectors.
