When trying to remove my lower unit, the piece that connects the shift shaft to the linkage broke off. I’m stumped. Can I get to this without removing the block? If I do get to it, is it going to be back in the right gear? This job went from super simple to so complicated and I have a hard time believe that a cheap plastic part is going to cost me thousands if I take it in. Its a 2008. HELP!
