Howdy, Tex. If your engine speeds up but the boat doesn't you have a prop problem.<br /><br />If the engine wont speed up you may be dropping cylinders. That could be ignition or it could be one of your carbs. Try pulling a plug wire when it is doing this bad thing. No change=that cylinder isn't making power. If you can get a 1/2" spark jump to the block the problem is fuel (carb or fuel pump) related.
