My motor will run at top speed for about 3-5 minutes when you first start it, and it will lose the bottom cyinder and it will be running at half power. If you let it idle for a minute or two it will run at top speed for about 1 minute and back to half speed. I have rebuilt the carb and fuel pump,changed the plugs, replaced the stator, and tested the coils and all is good. I am going tomorrow to order a switch box and replace it. I need help, any clues to my problem.

I don't think that you can properly test a coil with a meter. We had a 2 stroke twin cylinder ATV engine that acted just as you describe and it was the coil. It metered fine but I'm guessing that it was arcing over or opening up under load.

We first thought that it was loading up and it seemed that if you revved it with no load it would clear out, as soon as you loaded it down it started to drop a cylinder and eventually ran on 1 cylinder. It was hard to diagnose because when a coil drops out the cylinder would load up so you're wondering which came first, a loaded cylinder or a dead cylinder that loaded up.
